When to Apply

The University of Indianapolis Athens Campus maintains a rolling admissions policy meaning that prospective students have five different times a year that they can apply to the University. The Fall Semester begins in September and the Spring Semester begins in February. We also have a one month Winter Session in January and two Summer Sessions in June and July. We urge applicants to file an application at least one month prior to the expected date of enrollment, but late inquiries can be submitted as late as one week before classes begin, provided applicants meet the requirements for admission. Admissions counselors as well as academic advisors are available for counseling prior, during, and after student enrollment.
Male students of Greek citizenship are not eligible for military deferment on the basis of their enrollment at the Athens campus.

International Student Visa Information

Once you are accepted into UIA you will have to secure a student visa to be able to travel to Greece and begin classes. The visa process may take some time depending on the country of origin. It is very important that you allow yourself time for this process so you can arrive in Athens before the beginning of the desired semester and not after it has already begun.

The Municipality here in Athens requires specific documents from the student in order for them to issue the official certificate, which allows you to apply for a student visa. Below please find a list of the proper documents that you have to gather in your native country and forward them to us here in Athens.
